Surveying England’s Buddhist Architecture

University of Leeds research has begun into an English Heritage project researching and recording Buddhist buildings.

The research team have a blog ‘Building Buddhism’ to share the ongoing work, whose research has been funded by English Heritage in order to increase their knowledge of minority faith buildings in England.

Blog entries to date include the London Buddhist Centre (in a converted fire station) and Jamyang London (situated in a former Victorian court house). The project is looking for those who know of Buddhist buildings or are part of a Buddhist community to get in touch, via Twitter or email.
